A heating installer works in plant rooms, homes and on construction sites: planning systems, fitting pipes and components, commissioning and maintenance. Everyday work includes customer coordination, occupational safety, measurement and control technology, and handling gas, water and electricity β often under deadline pressure and with emergency call-outs in the heating season.
- Install, expand and modernise heating and hot-water systems β from boilers and heat pumps to pipework and radiators or underfloor heating.
- Set up, inspect and service systems; diagnose faults, replace parts and document commissioning.
